REARS Fan Blade

Each fan is manufactured by REARS and dynamically balanced. Blades are aggressively flared at the tip push the maximum air volume that no single variable pitch fan could match. To take advantage of the aggressive flair of the REARS fan blades, the fan is fitted to the fan housing with a tight tolerance between the fan housing wall and the fan blade tip. This tight fit forces air where the surface area of the blade is widest and the tip speed is greatest for optimal performance.

Louvered air straightening vanes are mounted in line with the fan to take the twist out of the air stream and equalize air velocity around the periphery of the air slot.
