The Valmar 8600 series spreader can apply up to 1000 lbs per acre at 8 miles per hour. It includes a Venturi metering system and left/right section control with the option of manual or automatic operation. The 8611 model shown here features an 11 ton hopper that includes a main and secondary hopper.

The Valmar 8611 spreader pictured here comes standard with the following features, which can be modified to fit your project needs:

Hopper:

• 11 ton, 357 cu. ft. hopper.
  • 297 cu. ft. main and 60 cu. ft. secondary hoppers.
  • Partition and flip gate allows use of primary and secondary hoppers.
• Painted 409 stainless steel with 2-component epoxy primer and 2-component, cross-linked acrylic top coat paint system.
• Roll tarp installed.
• Hopper screen assembly.

Booms:

• 66 ft. spread width.
• Rubber torsion boom suspension.
• 304 stainless steel construction.
• 7 ft. break-away tips with manual fold.
• 3 inch diameter tubes, 6 per side.
• Two deflectors per tube.

Metering for Main Hopper:

Note: Ground-wheel drive is standard. This unit is equipped with hydraulic drive.
